BeamRight is built privacy-first. The app does not collect, store, or transmit your personal data. Your screen, videos, and audio are sent directly to your own TV over your local Wi-Fi — never to us or any third party.
Who this covers
This policy applies to the BeamRight apps for iPhone, iPad, and Mac, the BeamRight Receiver app for Android TV / Google TV (together, “BeamRight”, “the app”), and to this website.
What we collect
Nothing. BeamRight has no account, no login, and no sign-up. We do not collect names, emails, contacts, location, device identifiers for tracking, or usage analytics. There are no third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs in the app.
How BeamRight uses your device
- Local Network access — used only to discover and connect to TVs (Chromecast, Google TV, or a BeamRight receiver) on your own Wi-Fi network, and to stream your picture and audio to the TV you choose. This traffic goes device → TV on your local network. It never passes through our servers.
- Screen recording (mirroring) — when you start mirroring, iOS captures your screen through Apple’s ReplayKit and BeamRight relays those frames to your TV in real time. Frames are not recorded, stored, or uploaded anywhere.
- Photos / Files (casting video) — if you choose a video to cast, the app reads only the file you pick and serves it to your TV over your local network. We do not browse, copy, or upload your library.
- BeamRight Receiver (Android TV / Google TV) — the receiver app listens for incoming connections on your local network only, to receive and display the picture and audio streamed from a device running BeamRight. It does not access your files, photos, or any other app, and does not connect to the internet beyond your local network.
Purchases
BeamRight for iPhone, iPad, and Android TV is completely free, with no in-app purchases, no ads, and no account. BeamRight for Mac offers an optional one-time Pro upgrade purchased through Gumroad (not an in-app purchase) — see the Pro page for details. We do not run any purchase server ourselves and store no payment information.
Data sharing & selling
Because we collect no personal data, we have nothing to share or sell. We do not share data with advertisers, data brokers, or any third party.
Children
BeamRight does not collect personal data from anyone, including children, and contains no behavioral advertising.
Third parties
BeamRight works with Chromecast and Google TV devices on your network and with Apple’s App Store for purchases. Your use of those devices and services is governed by their own privacy policies. Google Cast is a trademark of Google LLC; BeamRight is an independent product and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Google or Apple.

我們收集什麼
什麼都不收集。BeamRight 沒有帳號、不需登入、不需註冊。我們不收集姓名、電子郵件、聯絡人、位置、用於追蹤的裝置識別碼或使用行為分析。App 內沒有任何第三方分析、廣告或追蹤 SDK。
App 如何使用你的裝置
- 區域網路存取——僅用於在你的 Wi-Fi 上尋找並連線電視（Chromecast、Google TV 或 BeamRight 接收器），並把你的畫面與聲音串流到你選的電視。這些傳輸是裝置 → 電視，走你的區域網路，絕不經過我們的伺服器。
- 螢幕錄製（鏡像）——開始鏡像時，iOS 透過 Apple 的 ReplayKit 擷取你的畫面，BeamRight 即時轉送到電視。影格不會被錄下、儲存或上傳到任何地方。
- 相片／檔案（投放影片）——當你選一支影片投放時，App 只讀取你選的那個檔案並在區域網路上提供給電視播放。我們不會瀏覽、複製或上傳你的相簿。
- BeamRight 接收器（Android TV / Google TV）——接收器 App 只在你的區域網路上監聽連線，用來接收並顯示從裝有 BeamRight 的裝置傳來的畫面與聲音。它不會存取你的檔案、相片或其他 App，也不會連到區域網路以外的網際網路。
付費
iPhone、iPad、Android TV 版的 BeamRight 完全免費，沒有 App 內購買、沒有廣告、不需要帳號。Mac 版 BeamRight 提供選購的一次性 Pro 升級，透過 Gumroad 購買（非 App 內購買）——詳見 Pro 頁面。我們沒有任何自己的購買伺服器，也不保存付款資訊。
資料分享與販售
因為我們不收集個人資料，所以沒有任何資料可分享或販售。我們不會把資料提供給廣告商、資料仲介或任何第三方。
兒童
BeamRight 不向任何人（包含兒童）收集個人資料，也不含行為式廣告。
第三方
BeamRight 會與你網路上的 Chromecast、Google TV 裝置互動，並透過 Apple App Store 處理購買。你使用那些裝置與服務時，受其各自的隱私政策規範。Google Cast 為 Google LLC 的商標；BeamRight 為獨立產品，與 Google、Apple 無隸屬或背書關係。
